In the presence of Mr. Ibrahim Lumumba IDI-ISSA, Deputy Executive Secretary of CILSS, Mr. Sékou Sangaré, Commissioner for Agriculture, Environment and Water Resources of ECOWAS, Dr. Souleymane OUEDRAOGO, Director General of the AGRHYMET Regional Center, and Ms. Catherine Hamlin, Agriculture Team Leader of USAID West Africa.

The meeting brought together representatives from the member countries of CILSS, UEMOA, and ECOWAS, experts from regional information systems on food and nutrition security (CILSS, FAO, FEWS NET, CCR/EU), humanitarian organizations, and representatives of regional producer and pastoralist organizations.
