The Research Results subsystem generally aims to provide information on the impacts of research in ECOAGRIS member countries. More specifically, it makes it possible to monitor the evolution of the rates of adoption and use of research results and to measure the level of commitment of policies to support research through the investments devoted to it.

The selected indicators are much more focused on agricultural production. But beyond the agricultural sector; other related sectors are integrated into this sub-system by taking into account the indicators linked to them.

Process and scheme for data collection and processing of the "Research Results" subsystem

Just like the" Macro-economics" subsystem, we can say that generally, all the indicators retained in the" Research Results" subsystem of the ECOAGRIS system are already routinely monitored on an annnual basis by the Ministries and technical services in charge of agriculture (in the broad sense), extension services, agricultural statistics services as well as in the databases of technical and financial partners in the domain. The ECOAGRIS focal points should compile a list of its institutions in the countries in order to classify them according to the information requirements of the indicators that will be sent to them.
