Early warning

The indicators of the early warning subsystem are mainly used to monitor the vulnerability of populations affected by risks and disasters in order to regularly inform decision-makers, field actors and technical and financial partners at regional, national and local levels on the evolution of the food and nutritional situation.

Process and scheme for data collection and processing

The data come from country-level agricultural surveys, Early Warning Systems (EWS), country Multidisciplinary Working Groups, and data-providing services that are members of the Multidisciplinary Working Groups or other similar policy frameworks.
